Sustainability

Our not-so-secret plan is to create sustainable and innovative solutions for a better world, and one of our important goals is to make it easier for industries to choose these options.

Made in Norway

Our head office is situated in Vatne, just outside of Aalesund, Norway. All of our production takes place here, with two manufacturing facilities and a dedicated painting department. This combination provides great capacity for continuous large-scale production, as well as valuable control over the entire process - a key factor in serving our customers with close and reliable support.

Moving the industry forward

As pioneers in the pultrusion of fiberglass products, we are dedicated to advancing material sustainability and production innovation. Through our state-of-the-art pultrusion technique, we push the boundaries of efficiency and quality, setting new standards in the industry.

Reduced footprint

Composite products have a positive influence on the environment through reduced energy consumption – both in the production itself and in use.

At our company, ISO 14001 guides us through the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" (PDCA) cycle to ensure continuous improvement in our environmental performance. This standard encourages us to establish clear environmental objectives, implement effective processes to achieve them, regularly monitor and measure our progress, and continually enhance our Environmental Management System (EMS).

A full cycle

Spilka Composites will continue to work on lowering our environmental impact by lowering waste in our production process, reuse of scrap and end of life waste through partnership with other composite manufacturing companies and review our supply chain together with our partner United Future Labs Norway.
